The FIRST day in the life of a lamb

I spent a long time figuring out that the video files I captured these lambs with are not compatible with WordPress. So I’m delayed linking to my G+<–Check it out.

Ewe number 56 (56, for short) had twin ewe lambs shortly before I arrived at the barn one morning. I’ll let them do most of the talking.

You might recall this terminology from Charlotte’s Web–they are runts. In every way, they’re behind their peers–from standing up to growing.

They needed a little help to stand, nurse, and keep warm on their first day hoofing around.
